It's time to rise from the ashes of my grave.

Hello world.

The Martian's back.

Blue is the Color of the Day

Some of the very rare moments that I can appreciate how HARD menial labor can be is when I take on DIY (Do It Yourself) jobs at home.  I just finished coating my house's external wall with a waterproofing substrate.

Because of the rains and unending downpour, my walls have bled water like a hemophiliac on blood thinners.  All my furniture are moldy and have started warping, the paint job is ruined, and I'm beginning to fear getting electrocuted one of these days.

So I decided to take on the job of painting a coat of waterproofing on my walls.

Nobody told me waterproofing = tar.
Nobody told me tar is like enamel paint with quick dry cement.
Nobody told me tar multiplied the heat factor from the reflected sunlight on the roof and had a nauseating smell.

You gotta hand it to them blue-collar job workers.  They really have it tough.

Sigh.  Got to find me some rubbing oil to remove these damn tar stains...
